Crossmark Global Investments Named One of Houston’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For

The Houston-based firm was recognized by The National Association for Business Resources (NABR) for excellence in operations and employee enrichment.

Houston, Texas – May 18, 2021 – Crossmark Global Investments announced today that it has been named one of Houston’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For® by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR) for the fourth consecutive year.

Crossmark was one of 56 organizations honored. The firm was assessed on categories such as communication, work-life balance, employee education, diversity, recognition, retention and more. The NABR annually engages an independent research firm to evaluate companies for consideration.

On an annual basis, the NABR engages an independent research firm to evaluate companies based on key measures in the following categories:

  • Compensation, benefits and employee solutions;
  • Employee enrichment, engagement and retention;
  • Employee education and development;
  • Recruitment, selection and orientation;
  • Employee achievement and recognition;
  • Communication and shared vision;
  • Diversity and inclusion;
  • Work-life balance;
  • Community initiatives; and
  • Strategic company performance.

Winners are selected from among the nominated companies based on their performance in one or more of these areas. Crossmark was selected out of 350 applicants and was rated particularly high in three areas:

  • Community initiatives, defined as the extent to which the organization is committed to improving the local community while providing the encouragement and time for employees to participate in a meaningful way;
  • Strategic company performance, defined as the extent to which the human resources team collaborates to drive company performance with C-suite executives in a proactive and meaningful way; and
  • Communication and shared vision, defined as the effective exchange of information from senior leaders to employees and the extent to which employees are given a platform to communicate opinions, ideas, issues and concerns.
